Hartmann InnovAire, a truly lightweight bag

The new Hartmann InnovAire is going to be a big hit.  This collection really lives up to its name. When the collection was first introduced to us, I was skeptical about the weights posted on the catalog.  So many manufacturers claim to have lightweight bags only to disappoint when the actual product shows up.  Hartmann InnovAire is lightweight durable luggage.  I still can't get over the how light these bags are.  4.5 lbs for the carry on, 6.5lbs for the 27" and 6.8 lbs for the 30" !  Now that's what I call truly lightweight luggage. The carry on meets the new regulations for overhead size.  

Construction: The Curv® material, which Hartmann describes as a blend of layers of woven polypropylene.  Feels like a polycarbonate but upon closer look you can see the layers that make up the strength.  This material claims to be impact resistant even at low temperatures.  The sample piece of this polypropylene that comes with this collection will give users a better idea of how strong this material is. 

As always, Hartmann cannot get away without incorporating some leather into their bags.  This collection has supple brown leather carry handles on the champagne color and black leather carry handles on the graphite, adding to the overall elegance on the bag.
